Growing up in Houston, Texas, Dr. Kim Hilscher now lives in Magnolia. She began working at Bear Branch Animal Hospital in 2013. Earning an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, she later earned a DVM degree from the School of Veterinary and Life Sciences at Murdoch University in Western Australia. Dr. Hilscher has also practiced in San Angelo. She has special veterinary interests in surgery and dermatology.

Dr. Hilscher has three cats named Beaux, Peanut, and Popcorn as well as one dog named Lady. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and antique shopping.
